Top Project March 2018: Kings College, London

Bush House Auditorium

Founded 190 years ago, Kings College is located in the heart of London. It is among the top 10 in the ranking of universities in the world and no less than twelve people have already been honored with the Nobel Prize.

The auditorium has been completely redesigned by John Roberts Architects. The architect has chosen TOPAKUSTIK® panels in American Black Walnut FSC veneer and boasts state of the art lecturing facilities to accommodate an audience of 395 an audio visual booth and fully retractable seating.

Here you see three photos of the finished auditorium, but also a computer simulation and a short film showing how the seating is retractable.
